Camp Rogis: A Joint Bachelor & Bachelorette Party

Sharing some party pictures from my brother & future sister-in-law's joint bachelor/bachelorette party over the summer.  Since we had invited people to camp out at my parents house, I went with a camp theme & really loved how it turned out...

Road tripping all summer long
The bachelorette party bags I made for the bride :)
The girls spent the afternoon on the mighty Mississippi River
These tattoos were perfect (via etsy)
We used an old painters canvas as a backdrop & I DIY'ed this rag banner
We used pie tins for plates for that camping feel...
We played games all day and the winning team split this wheel barrel of booze!!!!
Cupcakes were a simple dessert choice...
What's a camping party without a campfire?

It's Jacket Weather...

Jacket weather is my favorite weather, mostly because an outfit doesn't feel quite right to me without layers.  This scarf from Free People is everything…the colors are perfect & it pretty much goes with everything I've been after lately...

Hostess With the Most-est

The outfit I wore from yesterday's baby shower post.  Three of us hosted, which was amazing since planning it with two of my favorite friends was the most fun of all.  I picked pink for obvious reasons (baby girl shower) & flats because I was running around like crazy.  It turned out to be the perfect choice...

Oh Baby, it's a Girl: Rhylan's Baby Shower

Photos from my best friend's baby shower this past August.  She picked a mild tribal-theme for the nursery, so we built on that for decorations & used gold accents.  The fabric was the actual fabric she used for baby Rhylan's quilt in her crib, the perfect personalized finishing touch for any nursery...

I was fortunate enough to have most of the decor prepared before traveling :)
A fellow hostess' mom works at a print shop & made us this sign :)
My mama is getting too good at making diaper cakes :)

The Mom-osa bar :)
Black is a no-no when it comes to babies, but I loved the contrast
